Job Description
Work with students of all grade levels and courses on information literacy skills
Teach research skills
Teach and assist technology programs and processes
Create an academic library environment that encourages student involvement
Collaborate with teachers on lesson design
Work with community on materials collection
Connect with other libraries on materials and methods
Catalog and prepare materials for circulation
Supervise student work and behavior in the library
Work with volunteers

Required Qualifications: Spiritual: Committed Believer in Jesus Christ Committed to the vision and mission of Valor Christian Exemplary in conduct Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Master’s degree in Library Science Valid teaching certificate Experience: High school teaching experience is preferred Experience in a library is preferred Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of the role of a school library in a school and a community Communication Library collection development and processing Love of reading Confident in using and exploring new technologies
