The Pawtucket Public Library is looking for a part-time Adult Services Librarian, whose responsibilities include assisting adult and teen library users, planning and presenting programs, advertising programs and services, representing the library in the community and participating in ongoing educational opportunities. The applicant should have a strong service oriented philosophy to work in a busy public library that serves a multi-ethnic community.
Minimum Requirements: A Master of Library Science degree from an ALA accredited institution. Employee must have knowledge of library resources and procedures. Employee must also have knowledge of current technological applications for information access and ability to utilize these resources with a high degree of accuracy and proficiency.
Salary Range: $548.89 to $594.25 per week in three steps
