The Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services (OLIS) is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Information Services Technician. Duties include performing technical work in support of OLIS operations, especially in the area of digital publications including preparation of electronic documents for agency programs and grant programs. Additional duties include supporting agency functions, such as interlibrary delivery, data entry and processing, entry of purchasing and acquisitions using the state financial system, and other duties. Candidates should be adept in using Microsoft Word and Excel, and have excellent communication and customer service skills. Previous experience in a library setting is preferred but not required.
