40% Researches and develops website content by identifying events and special interest topics, searching print and electronic material, coordinating content received from internal staff,and utilizing Coming Soon lists in order to provide information and resources to the public. 30% Inputs website content into database by coding (html) and/or using appropriate applicable software within regular deadlines in order to produce website interface and content for the public. 15% Conducts research by conducting focus groups, interviewing patrons, composing and gathering surveys, and analyzing statistics in order to gather feedback to improve the functionality and usage of the public website. 15% Researches website technology trends by reading about the most current technology, information, industry strategies, and trends in order to keep the public website relevant and informative. Intermediate technology skills, including Windows, Word, Internet Explorer, Outlook Basic skill in HTML coding Advanced knowledge of Millennium Skill in using electronic reference materials Experience writing for public consumption. Established in 1966, the Arapahoe Library District serves more than 200,000 residents living in Arapahoe County. Arapahoe County and other major suburban counties make up the greater metropolitan area surrounding Denver, Colorado. The Arapahoe Library District operates eight branch libraries, an Outreach Service that provides mobile library services, and a library at the County Detention Center, funded by the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Department. A seven-member Board of Trustees sets the library budget and determines policy.
