Do you possess a passion for customer service, libraries and have a good grasp of business practices and economic development concepts? Then consider joining the progressive Pueblo City-County Library District as a Librarian on one of our outstanding branch teams. You will have the opportunity to positively serve our patron population of all ages, with an emphasis on business services. This position will oversee the content, development, planning, coordination and publicizing (in collaboration with Community Relations) of the library’s Business Services program and will be responsible to arrange creative outreach programs for the public which promote the use of library materials and other resources and services to enhance understanding and access to the business community and related opportunities for patrons. Excellence in the provision of reference, readers’ advisory and other library services to patrons as well as circulation support activities will also be required. If selected, you will have the responsibility develop a business services program for community patrons and will be involved with outreach activities on behalf of the branch and Library District. Some library experience is preferred, as well as previous working experience which would provide an understanding of business and economic development principles. Outstanding communication skills, a positive customer service attitude and the ability to connect and communicate with patrons of all ages are critical.
