Five state classified Library Technician II positions are currently open in Denver, Canon City, Pueblo, and Sterling. These positions serve adult female and/or male offenders with guidance from professional librarians, assisting in the daily operations of correctional facility libraries by providing public/school-type (not law) library service.

These positions require no previous knowledge of corrections. Training in security procedures will be provided.

Special consideration will be given to applicants with the following qualifications: strong service orientation; excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; flexibility; strong computer skills in a Windows environment and with MS Office Professional; experience working with a diverse population.
