Responsible for programs and services geared to adult users including reference, readers’ advisory, collection development, circulation duties, technology and computer support, and developing or scheduling one program per month. We have a recently opened maker space with a 3D printer, laser cutter, Cricut Maker 3, easy press, mug mini press, sewing machine, 3D Doodler and Create pens, Little Bits, Bloxels, Snap Circuits, Sphero and Finch programmable bots, Dremel high performance rotary tool, Spellbinders Grand Calibur die cutting and embossing machine, button maker, thermal laminator and VIDBOX video conversion for PC that can be used by patrons over 12 years old. Successful candidate will receive training in this equipment from current staff and will, after training, cover the maker space one evening per week and one Saturday per month. Successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of library management in order to possibly step into the assistant director or director roll eventually.
Will consider candidates a few courses from completing MLS or MLIS degree.
