LIBRARY DIRECTOR, Norfolk, Nebraska (Population 23,516), located in Northeast Nebraska. The City of Norfolk is seeking a creative and dynamic director who has the experience to continue the vision of the library.

Appropriate candidates will have had prior success working with library personnel, community leaders, budgets, public relations, fundraising, short and long-term planning, technology and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The Library Director plans, organizes, reviews and manages the services of the public library, under the administrative direction of the City Administrator; consults and confers with the Library Board, other libraries, academics, citizens and community groups; supervises the selection of materials and books for purchases; supervises library procedures; supervises library personnel; and prepares annual budget. Library operations budget is $1,127,844 with 15 FTE.

MLS degree required. Five years of library experience required. Prefer three years of supervisory experience.
