Job Summary | The Community College of RI is currently seeking part-time, reference librarians to provide library services to students during the evenings and weekends. Under the supervision of the head of reference adjunct librarians will provide reference and instruction services as requested, and will participate in the development and management of resources used to support these activities. Work schedule will be primarily evenings, but day and weekend coverage may be required. |
Duties and Responsibilities | Provide reference service, including: · Prepare and update library guides and materials. |
Minimum Requirements | · MLS/MLIS from an ALA accredited program required · Academic library reference experience required. · Experience with web-based resources and electronic databases required. |
Competencies | · Experience in library instruction preferred. · Experience with OCLC WMS preferred. |
