Job Summary | The Community College of Rhode Island is seeking part-time professional librarians to assist in the management of Access Services at the Flanagan campus. Position will be responsible for management of various aspects of access services including managing reserves collection, stack maintenance, patron accounts, student worker training, etc. |
Duties and Responsibilities | ·Oversee operations of the access services area at the Flanagan (Lincoln) campus library. ·Train student library assistants in all aspects of circulation. ·Plan and implement stack maintenance projects e.g. collection inventory. ·Provide direct service to patrons at the Circulation desk. ·Provide individual reference services as needed. ·Plan and lead information literacy sessions as needed. |
Minimum Requirements | · MLS/MLIS from an ALA accredited program required.

Competencies | · Experience with OCLC Worldshare Management Services preferred. · Academic library reference experience preferred. · Access services experience preferred. · Supervisory experience preferred |
