St. Ambrose University Library seeks a service-oriented Access Services Librarian. Responsibilities include supervising student workers, maintaining the library's integrated library system (ILS), overseeing the circulation and accessibility of physical and digital materials in the library, and working with interlibrary loan (ILL) materials. The Access Services Librarian will also engage in a limited amount of reference work, collection development, and the creation of instructional materials.
This 12-month position requires working some evening hours, with some deviation from normal hours during the summer and other breaks in the academic calendar. American Library Association (ALA)-accredited Master's degree required. Position is open until filled, with applications submitted by December 4th guaranteed to receive full consideration.
