Title: Circulation Technician
Location: Ames Free Library
Easton, MA
Start date: December 6, 2022
End date: January 1, 2023
Schedule: 35 hours per week
Mon. & Thurs.: 1 - 8pm;
Tues. & Wed.: 10 am - 5 pm;
Fri.: 9 am - 4 pm;
One Sat.: 10 am - 5 pm
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
CORI: REQUIRED
Duties:
- Checking materials in and out, renewing items, registering new patrons, placing holds, processing interlibrary loans, and making museum pass reservations.
- The Library Circulation Technician may also be asked to assist patrons with readers advisory and basic instruction on library services, such as the online catalog or self-checkout machine.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google apps, and SirsiDynix's WorkFlows preferred.
- Light physical effort is required. Must occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
