We invite applications for our full-time Principal Cataloger librarian position at Oregon State University Libraries and Press. The Principal Cataloger serves as a resource on issues of cataloging policy and practice. The Principal Cataloger catalogs, classifies, and provides subject analysis for monographs and continuing resources in a variety of formats and serves as the NACO and SACO liaison. The Principal Cataloger is responsible for training catalogers and others throughout the library on cataloging practices and systems, conducting and publishing research related to cataloging, and engaging in service activities at the library, university, state, national, and international levels. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) 12-month tenure track assistant professor position that reports to the Cataloging & Government Documents Unit Manager. This is primarily an onsite position located in Corvallis, Oregon.

The annual salary range for this unclassified position is $55000 - $65000.
