The Library at St. Ambrose University seeks a service-oriented Teaching Librarian. Responsibilities include teaching sections of the library’s credit-bearing, 1-credit course IL 101: Information Literacy; in-person and remote reference work; subject liaison; and a miscellany of other librarian tasks such as educational materials creation, collection maintenance, circulation help, etc.
This 12-month faculty librarian position requires working occasional evening hours (with deviation from normal hours during the summer and other breaks in the academic calendar). American Library Association (ALA)-accredited Master's degree required. Position is open until filled, with applications submitted by Sunday, June 18th receiving full consideration.
