Job Description

The McGoogan Health Sciences Library at the University of Nebraska Medical Center seeks a collaborative, innovative, and values-driven candidate to apply for its Associate Dean position. As a member of the library’s leadership team, the Associate Dean assists in implementing the library’s strategic plan and leading an evolving portfolio of projects and priorities in a collaborative and dynamic environment. The Associate Dean will supervise faculty and staff in library units, including education, research, collections, and communications. 
 

As a faculty member of the Education & Research Services team, they will have liaison, instruction, and research support roles. This position requires scholarship, professional development, and service that contributes to the effectiveness of the library, the university, and the profession. Liaison and Associate Dean duties are split approximately 50%. 
 

This is a full-time, 12-month position. This position is on-site in Omaha, with partial remote work flexibility. Minimum salary is $91,000, negotiable based on relevant experience.
