Job Description

The University Libraries at Tarleton State University, Stephenville, Texas is seeking applications for an Associate Director of Engagement & Research Services (Librarian V) to start in December 2023.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination, and administration of the Engagement & Research division, including the Undergraduate, Graduate, and Faculty Service units. The candidate will also be in charge of the administration of remote services including but not limited to reference, instruction and liaising at all university instruction locations. They will also be responsible for coordinating with the Dean, Associate Directors, and Library IT Coordinator to administer the library network, applications, resources, and other technologies. This position will also perform as a Professional Librarian with duties that may include but are not limited to reference, instruction, subject liaison and professional.

Applicants must have earned an ALA-accredited master’s degree in library or information science or international equivalent. Must have seven years of related experience in college or university library setting, including related supervisory experience.
