Plan, direct, manage and oversee all programs, activities and operations of the Library Division of the Department of Arts and Culture including oversight of the public library system of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County to include but not limited to all facilities and grounds, collections and library materials, and technology infrastructure and educational programs. Coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, departments and outside agencies; and provide highly responsible and complex administrative duties in support of the Director of the Department of Arts and Culture..

Master's degree from an accredited college or university in library and information sciences; and Seven (7) years managerial experience in the operation and maintenance of public library systems; and To include six (6) years supervisory experience. Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License or the ability to obtain within ninety (90) days from date of hire. Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire. Possession of a NM State Library Director Certification within six (6) months from date of hire.
