The Information Services Librarian connects library users to research resources through in person and online group instruction as well as individual consultation sessions.
Job Duties: Provides in-person and online research consultation services to students and faculty, including assistance with locating open educational resources (OER). Provides information literacy skill building through carefully crafted classroom instruction, online tutorials, and web guides. Ensures both campus and online learners have access to library resources, instruction, and services. Promotes, schedules and assesses library instruction activities. Collection development and maintenance in assigned areas. Assists with maintenance of library online platforms, tools, and spaces. Serves on faculty and university committees.

Qualifications Master’s level degree in library science/ library information science from an accredited institution and related work experience. Knowledge of information literacy pedagogical practices that map to the ACRL Framework. Preferred qualifications: Previous work in an academic library setting. Experience using game-based and/or other immersive experiences to enhance delivery of information literacy instruction. Experience using integrated library systems (Alma or other ILS), Springshare’s LibApps products, and discovery tools (Primo or comparable system). Knowledge of HTML/CSS
