Key Responsibilities:
● Determine the root of support ticket issues and resolve the problem
● Identify and submit bugs within development projects and community code
● Determine the requirements needed to achieve the goal the partner is seeking
● Manage the migration process from start to finish, communicating frequently with partners and
colleagues on the status of the data migration
● Perform data migration of library data from a variety of legacy library systems to Koha, utilizing Perl
scripts, SQL, and other tools
● Set partner expectations and assist with change management with migrating libraries
● Ensure timely and accurate completion of migrations
● Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
● Demonstrated knowledge of library operations
● Ability to handle assigned tasks independently and collaboratively across departments
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
● Ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL complex queries for customer-requested reports in Koha
● Ability to use SQL and Perl scripts to perform data updates via a command line interface
● Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
● Ability to work in a continually changing, customer-focused environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Master of Library Science (MLS or MLIS)
● Demonstrated ability to manage complex data migrations
● Familiar with project management and ticketing software
● Experience with the Koha library management system
● Working knowledge of Perl and Linux

This is a full-time, telecommuting (permanent) position that requires working from home and an approximate 5% travel requirement.
