The Middletown Public Library is looking for a full time Borrower Services Supervisor to join our fabulous team! Work in our small but busy library in an exciting time in MPL history - getting to help design and imagine a new library of our dreams!

-Your customer service and supervisory experience is people-centered.
-You have interest and/or experience with ordering, receiving, processing, and collection management.
-You have interest and/or knowledge on the current trends in libraries today.

Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent required, and one to three years of related experience, at least one in a supervisory capacity, or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience.
Schedule is 35 hours per week and includes nights and weekends – closing two nights a week and working every other Saturday on rotation, as well as at least one Sunday per month at a premium rate when the library is open on Sundays. A regular work week is 5 days per week, 7-hour shifts.
This is a full-time position within the Middletown Public Library Employees Association / NEARI Union, and includes paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal leave.
Salary is in accordance with established pay scale – to be negotiated, but not less than $20 an hour.
