Job Description
The Public Services Librarian is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining library public services including reference, information literacy, bibliographic instruction, reference guides and collection aids. This includes facilitating communication between library and other seminary departments to promote and train individuals to access library information and use library databases. The Public Services Librarian oversees the reference collection and coordinates reference resources with the Collection Management Librarian.
Additional Info & Requirements
Computer skills required. Experience with OCLC, Dynix, FirstSearch, ATLA Religion, highly desired. Excellent management and organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively and clearly. Two years of experience managing theological library reference services and operations. Good interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills required.
