Job Description
The student assistant will perform research-related tasks in the area of injury prevention including searching for and obtaining project-related resources, hand-searching conference proceedings, contacting agencies for project-related reports, using the internet to find contacts, searching bibliographic databases, and database screening, and other tasks as required, including the performance of general office duties.
Additional Info & Requirements
If you are hired, please be prepared to provide a schedule for the spring semester (or other proof of registration as a student). Student must have excellent computer skills, including internet use, and ability to work independently. Preferred skills and background include maintaining student status for the duration of the project (5-6 months), coursework in epidemiology, biostatistics, or research methods, and/or experience using bibliographic databases to perform literature searches.
