What You Will Be Doing?
We are looking for a smart, team-oriented and innovative leader for our Associate Director of Community Services to provide professional leadership, to coordinate and supervise all aspects of community services for our District, and to provide supervisory support to the District’s Branch Manager Team and our Business Librarian. This position serves as a member of the District’s senior management team and participates in the District planning and goal setting process. This position requires broad knowledge of library operations and policies, and a high level of experience, discretion, and technology skills. Work is performed using independent judgment and initiative.

We are regularly ranked as the number one library in the United States serving a population of between 250,000 and 500,000 citizens. We offer daily story times, award-winning programming, and an extensive library collection with many materials and services offered direct to patrons’ smartphone and tablet devices. We are gearing up to open three new libraries in the next three to five years.
