Job Description
Johnson & Wales University is seeking a conscientious, customer-service oriented individual to perform a variety of duties that will support the services and functions of its Denver Campus Library. The responsibilities include staffing the Check-Out and Information Desks, supervising student employees, and opening and/or closing the facility. Other duties may be assigned.

Based on the schedule, the applicant must be exceptionally reliable and have the ability to work independently with minimum or no supervision. Other requirements include customer service experience (preferably in a library setting), excellent organizational skills, an aptitude for detailed work, interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the Internet. It is preferred the applicant have Circulation, Supervisory (of student workers), and Reference experience including familiarity with online catalogs and databases. Knowledge of subjects covered by the Culinary, Business, and/or Hospitality fields is also highly desirable.

Approximate Dates Needed: Aug 20 – Nov 9; must be available to work part of Labor Day weekend Schedule: Monday – Wednesday, 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. and Saturday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. (20 hrs/week); additional hours are available Friday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. (optional)
