Summary Description:
Serves as a liaison to various disciplines including Anthropology, and History, Feminist & Gender Studies, and other program areas as assigned; leads and develops library educational services; develops and leads various library assessment initiative and programs; works with librarians and staff in a highly collaborative and collegial environment to serve the students and faculty of Colorado College.
Required Qualifications:
Master of Library Science from an ALA accredited institution (or equivalent foreign degree); plus a minimum of two years of academic library experience; understanding of and experience in library assessment; background in the academic subject areas identified in the job description; experience (theoretical or practical) designing and delivering instruction programs; general academic research/reference experience; familiarity with a broad range of research databases and current knowledge of academic databases and Web search engines; knowledge of current library and social networking technology; knowledge of emerging educational and information technologies and trends in scholarly communication; excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
