Major Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Daily mailroom tasks, which includes pulling books for outgoing mail; checking out books for outgoing mail; linking books from the transitional shelves to the stack; checking in books from incoming mail.
B. Inventory control which includes pulling books for xess and recall process; QA for shelf accuracy; understand the boneyard process including physical inventory and spreadsheet maintenance for backup.
C. Front desk coverage; cover for the receptionist during breaks and lunch and other times as appropriate.
D. Accomplish other desk work as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
•2 years’experience working with computers.
•1 year experience in customer service.
•Ability to work with diverse personalities.
•Ability to work with frequent interruptions.
•Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
•Demonstrated attention to detail.
•Demonstrated experience working with spreadsheets and databases.
•Ability to lift 20+ pounds.
•Ability to pass a background check.
The Colorado Talking Book Library serves Colorado residents who cannot read standard print. We have audio, Braille, and large print books that go through the mail postage paid. We have a large volunteer program who help our 13 staff maintain excellent customer service to our patrons. We also have a very supportive Friends group.
