The University of Northern Colorado Libraries seeks applicants for a part-time librarian to serve in the Library Research Services Department. The responsibilities of the person in this position include partnering closely with the department manager and subject librarians on collection development work; providing reference/research consultation service as part of the on-call team; delivering course-integrated library instruction; and assisting with special projects and programs as assigned.
Successful applicants must be committed to quality service in an academic environment and have excellent interpersonal skills. The position involves 20 hours/week during university semesters, with some flexibility in scheduling. The position begins in March 2015, continues through the academic year, and resumes again in mid-August 2015.
SALARY AND BENEFITS: The position will be paid on an hourly basis with the possibility of conversion to a part-time, salaried position beginning fall 2015. The hourly rate will be based upon experience. Minimum: $18.00/hr.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Experience working in a technology-mediated service delivery model; experience with collection development of tangible and electronic resources; experience delivering academic library instruction workshops; experience creating digital learning objects, online tutorials, and help guides; experience conducting library research and assessment activities.
