 Teach sessions in the Tiered Instruction program in coordination with Introductory Composition and Intermediate Composition courses.  Share responsibility with other reference librarians in staffing the reference desk, which provides opportunities for one-on-one teaching, 10-12 hours each week, including an evening shift.  Teach faculty requested bibliographic instruction sessions sessions, as assigned.  Assist in collection development work in areas to be determined.  Member of the Reference/ Instruction Library Team.  Member of the Library Management Council.  Possible assistance managing electronic resource collection.  Other duties as assigned. Required: Demonstrated ability to work independently and contribute as part of a team; excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills; experience demonstrating organizational and problem-solving skills; proficiency in use of online search systems; HTML skills. Preferred qualifications: Library instruction experience, especially classroom teaching; experience or demonstrated interest in the natural sciences; experience with Innovative Interfaces, Inc ILS.
