Access/Information, Inc. (A/I) has an immediate opening for a part-time Library Assistant. The Library Assistant provides administrative support for downtown law firms. Law firm responsibilities include ordering and processing library materials, and maintaining the libraries including updating and filing in legal publications. Additional duties include assisting A/I with court document retrieval, retrieving hard to find bibliographic citations, and researching public records. The ideal candidate will have had some experience in a law library.
Application Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Up-to-date computer skills (including Word and Excel)
- A demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with others, and high attention to detail are expected
- Some law library experience desired
- Car and valid driver’s license
Education:
College Degree preferred
Hours: 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday) (16 hours per week)
