Job Description
The Glendale Public Library Director plans, organizes and directs the activities and staff of the city’s library system. Services provided include a full-service library management system, which includes circulation, adult/youth reference, technical services, new library development, arts programming and special events. In addition, the Library Director oversees the City’s Public Art Program and staff. The department has 88.75 full time employees, 100 volunteers, and an annual operating budget of $7.5 million with a capital improvement budget of $17.4 million.
