The person in this position directs the library’s volunteer program, provides programming/special event coordination services and serves as liaison to the Friends of Oshkosh Public Library. The primary focus of this position is to mobilize volunteers in support of the library through ongoing projects and activities that enhance and extend library services; special events and programs; fundraising activities and advocacy initiatives. Candidates for this position should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; be adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines; excel at problem-solving and maximizing the skills/potential of volunteers; and be able to guide, collaborate with and provide recognition for volunteers and Friends of the Library.
This is a 40-hour-per-week position that includes some weekend and evening hours.
