The purpose of this classification is to assist upper management in directing the youth services library programs and in the supervision of workers engaged in the day to day operations of the Youth Services department.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Master’s Degree from an American Library Association accredited college with major course work in Library Science; supplemented by three (3) years previous experience and/or training in youth library services, literature and reference resource, at least one (1) of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
