Job Description

The Student Engagement Librarian is a 12-month library faculty position with rank leading to tenure. Reporting to the Student Success Coordinator, the Student Engagement Librarian collaborates with personnel across the Collections and Archives division and throughout the university to develop and promote library services that support student success, recruitment, and retention. The Student Engagement Librarian provides in-person and online research assistance and instruction; develops online instructional materials; promotes library instruction for first-year experience classes, the first year writing program and other core curriculum courses; and provides outreach to students and faculty at K-12 schools, concurrent programs, external campuses, and two-year partner institution
