The Community

Due to a retirement, the MidPointe Library has a unique opportunity for a Genealogy Librarian.

The MidPointe Library System service area covers the eastern part of Butler County Ohio, which is located between Cincinnati and Dayton. As such, we enjoy not only the amenities where our branch locations reside, but the many amenities that both of these large cities offer.

Our four branches are located in Middletown, Monroe, Trenton, and West Chester. The main library is in Middletown and houses collection services, accounting, outreach, IT, PR, HR, and administration. Our services include genealogy, a local history collection; a new bookmobile; homebound delivery; talking books; outreach to schools, day care facilities and senior facilities; passport services; proctoring; meeting rooms; programs; story times; events; and a highly successful summer reading program of just under 10,000 participants.
