We are looking for a knowledgeable, innovative professional to provide leadership and youth/family services administration for our library system. The successful candidate will develop, administer and coordinate the family library service and outreach for the Rangeview Library District, as well as participate in the design of innovative library spaces, collections, & programs for Adams County families. This administrative role will include: • Coordinating and administering Children’s services including collections, programs, technology and outreach. • Coordinating and administering Teen services including collections, programs, technology and outreach. • Mentoring, training and coaching staff to deliver optimum services for children, teens, parents and caregivers. • Administer outreach and literacy services. • Design and implement innovative library services, programs, collections and spaces for children, teens, parents and caregivers. • Be an active member of the RLD administrative team in visioning and creating the 21st century library. • Develop and monitor appropriate budgets. This is a full time, benefited position with salary from 68,000-82,000 DOE. Requirements: • Master’s of Library Science Degree from an ALA accredited program. • Seven years of increasingly responsible library experience managing children’s and teen library services well as two years of supervisory experience. • Excellent communication skills. • Working knowledge of MS Office products. • Project planning/management experience. • Ability to create and deliver training packages for staff and customers
