Job Description
The Director will perform administrative and professional library work in planning, organizing and directing the library program. Working with the Senior Management Team, the Director is responsible for: *Leading, developing and managing a dedicated and creative staff *Acting as policy advisor to the City Manager, Deputy City Managers, City Council, the Library Commission, Arts Commission *Setting bold performance goals and providing strong leadership by anticipating and responding to the rapid changes in public libraries. *Overseeing and administering the department budget *Developing and maintaining strong collaborative partnerships in the community. *Building community support for the library.
