
SENIOR LIBRARIAN, CHILDREN’S DIVISION for the City of Ketchikan, Alaska. This position develops and administers the activities of the division by overseeing the operations, coordination and maintenance of all services. The award winning library building opened in 2013 and serves a community of 13,000 with a per-capita circulation rate of 13.1 per year and a budget of $1.3 million. Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree, (MLS or MLIS preferred) from an accredited college or university and have two years of increasingly responsible library experience. The new Senior Librarian will join a dedicated and collaborative team.
