Pioneerland Library System seeks a Head Librarian with successful public library experience to direct and coordinate the activities of the Willmar (MN) Public Library. A thorough knowledge of library science principles & procedures, along with experience supervising staff and computer knowledge is required. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in library science and at least two years of work experience, including management experience in a public or other type of library; or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience necessary to perform the essential duties of the work. Annual (2008) salary range: $38,500 - $54,376. Appointment range: $38,500 - $42,078. Competitive benefit package includes Minnesota Retirement (PERA). Willmar, MN is located 90 miles west of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
