Job Description
The Library Clerk is an entry level position that requires applicant to be proficient with the library based circulation computer program. Under the supervision of the Library Director, the Library Clerk provides circulation services and assists patrons in the use of the online catalog & other resources.

Job Qualifications
Applicants must have excellent communication & customer service skills and experience working with the public. Must be able to provide support for a diverse group of patrons with a wide range of needs. Strong computer skills and clerical experience are required. Must be reliable, have patience and be a team player. Must have the ability to adapt to multiple demands and changing priorities, meet deadlines, and follow procedures.
Desired Qualifications
Proficient with Microsoft and other Windows based programs. Ability to troubleshoot mobile devices, such as smart phones, tablets, laptops & Kindles. Understanding of office machines such as fax, copy, & printers.
Knowledge of Library Management system to perform clerical duties and routine library assignments related to circulating and organization of library materials such as books, journals, publications, and audio-visual materials.
