The Lincoln Public Library has an opening for a 35 hours a week Reference Librarian. Includes two nights/week and alternate Saturdays.
Duties include information services, reader’s advisory, collection development. Services and programming to teens. Candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited program and experience in a public library setting. The successful candidate will be comfortable with a variety of digital devices, as well as computers, social media, online searching, books, literature and web resources as well as the ability to communicate effectively with the public and colleagues.
Includes two nights/week and alternate Saturdays. Union position pays $26.44 upon hire. $27.34 after 180 days.
