Job Description
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Design staff training modules with appropriate documentation, create and/or use content provided by the Colorado State Library subject specialists.
B. Conduct needs assessment. Research and evaluate existing training to determine professional development needs including state corrections issues, library issues, and future technology trends.
C. Develop, maintain, and administer staff intranet sites including State Institutional Libraries intranet.
D. Provide consultation and training to State Library staff on best practices for using instructional technology and presentation tools including web, screencasting and podcasting, PowerPoint, etc.
E. Evaluate existing and emerging technologies that could be used by State Library staff to serve their external clients more efficiently and effectively.
F. Contribute to the development and standardization of instructional technology practices and strategies to enhance State Library support and outreach initiatives.
G. Other duties as assigned.
